College: Day 2
I woke up at 6 am today for my 9 am class; completeyly erratic circumstances. I showered and flattened my hair to its flattest possibilities. It was raining cats and dogs. And the thunder rolled. It lightened up enough for me to walk to school. But to my surprise, as I walked into a bathroom on campus, my hair was not in the same condition as when i left. It had defied all cosmetic and ceramic therapy that had been coaxed into it just a few hours earlier. I didn't look like myself or feel like myself, but I went with it anyways.
{This picture is great don't you think? I love self-timer. So self-induced and...vain? This photo also reveals quite a lot: My dorm room; my elbows are double-jointed; and that white board said "Abandon hope all who enter" the first day I got there! I need to remember to take my camera to campus.}
Scool today was delightful. The rainy conditions hightened my spirit and my step. Yesterday, my classes held no more than 30 people. Today, my classes held no less than 700 people! Can you believe it? A regular University Core Requirement/GE {like my American Heritage and Biology 100 classes today} has SO many poeple in it. My honors classes had less than any public k-12 school in the state of Utah. An abundance of students.
I have similar feelings as I had yesterday. Just feeling like a part of it all.
Thank you all for your sweet comments. Every minute more I attend to my education, I am SO grateful for everyone I ever knew. I can't conceptualize how meaningless this would all be without people who loved me and want me to succeed. I love you.
